AFMKTG was tasked with crafting a brand identity and strategy for interior and product designer, Megan Heacock White.

To drive her positioning in the market as a heritage brand, the company name, House of Heacock, was selected to elevate the company from an eponymous name to something bigger than the founder. From studying Megan’s designs and history as a sixth-generation San Diegan, AFMKTG helped her define her design point of view, as the, California Coastal Ranch aesthetic.

The instantly recognizable House of Heacock mark stands out from the competition to confidently take its place amongst leading design brands. With a twist on a classic Serif font, the House of Heacock word mark features unexpected character elements that bring sharpness and modernity to an otherwise traditional style.

Honoring the design traditions of the Heacock Family Heritage while blending them with the California Coastal Ranch aesthetic was essential in developing a brand mark that feels rooted in tradition yet modern and invested in the future.
